Each additional horse nonifarm homes is a major commitment we do not enter into lightly. nonifarm is solely responsible for the horse’s care and expenses, including but not limited to costly geriatric veterinary care, critical medications for chronic conditions, farrier/hoof care, the special nutritional needs of our senior herd, and the significant expense involved in saying our final good bye.
Come visit and submit an application for your horse. Applications for horses at any age are encouraged and they may be included on our wait list but only horses over 20 years old will be considered for admission.

At the time of admission, the owner will sign a contract relinquishing all rights to the equine.
nonifarm has a one-time retirement fee, due at the time of arrival. The fee is revised annually and is currently $7,500.
The fee is paid by owner at the time of arrival, or for hardship cases nonifarm may assist owners with alternative funding strategies to include assistance from family and friends, GoFundMe-type campaigns, or other efforts.

If your horse untrained or unhandleable please realize nonifarm is not a training facility.
If you are re-homing your equine because it is lame, disabled, or in poor health have you considered all options including humane euthanasia? At the time of admittance nonifarm is only able to accept elderly horses in reasonably good health.
